Praised by Opera News for her “opulent timbre and highly nuanced dynamic palette,” American soprano Page Michels recently completed her Artist Diploma in Opera Studies at The Juilliard School. Ms. Michels is a 2026 Metropolitan Opera Laffont Competition National Semifinalist, 2026 Gerda Lissner Foundation Grant Recipient, and First Prize winner of the 2025 Cooper-Bing Competition. This spring, she performed the role of Alice Ford in Verdi’s Falstaff with Juilliard Opera. This summer, Ms. Michels joined Opera Theatre of Saint Louis as a Gerdine Young Artist, covering soprano Sara Gartland in the role of Blanche in André Previn’s A Streetcar Named Desire.
