American soprano Jacqueline Piccolino has been hailed by the San Francisco Chronicle for her “impeccable technique and stage presence” and as “an artist to watch.” She has performed with companies and orchestras including San Francisco Opera, Portland Opera, Seattle Opera, Chicago Opera Theater, Hawai’i Opera Theatre, Berkshire Opera Festival, Wolf Trap Opera, Quad City Symphony Orchestra, Johnstown Symphony Orchestra, and the St. Meinrad Concert Series.

Her repertoire includes Countess Almaviva (Le nozze di Figaro), Woglinde (Das Rheingold), Erste Dame (Die Zauberflöte), Arminda (La finta giardiniera), Clotilde (Norma), Stella (Les Contes d’Hoffmann), Lady Madeline (La chute de la Maison Usher), and Laura (Luisa Miller). She has also prepared and covered leading roles including Rusalka, Mimì (La Bohème), Alcina, Donna Elvira (Don Giovanni), Leonora (Il Trovatore), Roksana (King Roger), and Lady Billows (Albert Herring).

In the 2025–2026 season, Ms. Piccolino debuted two recitals for the St. Meinrad Concert Series at St. Meinrad Archabbey. Recent engagements include Portland Opera’s Puccini: In Concert; Woglinde in Das Rheingold with Seattle Opera; performances with Berkshire Opera Festival featuring scenes from Alcina, Suor Angelica, Idomeneo, and Faust; and covering Lady Billows in Albert Herring with Chicago Opera Theater. She also appeared as a soloist with Hawai’i Opera Theatre and covered Roksana in the Chicago premiere of Szymanowski’s King Roger. As concert soloist, she performed Beethoven’s Ninth Symphony with the Quad City Symphony Orchestra and Samuel Barber’s Knoxville: Summer of 1915 with the Johnstown Symphony Orchestra.

A participant in the Merola Opera Program and a San Francisco Opera Adler Fellow (2013– 2016), Ms. Piccolino made her professional debut with San Francisco Opera as Stella in Les Contes d’Hoffmann. During her tenure she performed roles in The Magic Flute, Luisa Miller, Norma, Susannah, Madama Butterfly, and the world premiere of Dolores Claiborne. Additional career highlights include appearances with Wolf Trap Opera, Napa Festival del Sole, and Houston Grand Opera’s Young Artist Vocal Academy.

Ms. Piccolino is a National Semi-Finalist in the Metropolitan Opera National Council Auditions and a First Prize Winner of the Partners for the Arts Competition. Her honors include awards from The American Prize, American Opera Society of Chicago, Opera Awards Foundation, George London Foundation, Sullivan Foundation, Shoshana Foundation, and Musicians Club of Women. She holds a Bachelor of Music degree from the University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign.
