I am a dramatic soprano. I spent many years singing Italian repertoire- Verdi, verismo, bel canto. These included Butterfly and Norma at Sarasota Opera, many Leonoras in Trovatore in Europe, Abigaille in Nabucco, Aida, etc. Now I am singing mostly Wagner/Strauss. I just sang my debut as Salome at West Bay Opera in California. I got very good reviews. I’ll share them below to give an impression of my most recent performances. I recently have been singing performances, including scenes, of Brünnhilde in Die Walküre and Götterdämmerung. I sang Elsa on Lohengrin at Utah Festival Opera. I’m now going to start some auditions for Turandot this coming season. I hope to keep singing Wagner, Salome, and hope to sing Ariadne as well. And I would like to keep singing Verdi if possible. I also just sang Rosalinda in Die Fledermaus to keep as flexible as I can. I think the next few years will really determine my opera career.
