Rachel Schlesinger, soprano, is pursuing a Master of Music at the San Francisco Conservatory, studying with César Ulloa, and will continue at the Yale School of Music with Gerald Martin Moore. Recent roles include Dorinda in Orlando, Pamina in Die Zauberflöte, and Gretel in Hänsel und Gretel. This season, she performs Magda in La Rondine and the title role in Alcina, followed by Fiordiligi at Yale. She was named a semifinalist in the Premiere Opera Foundation, Palm Springs Opera Guild, and James Toland Vocal Arts competitions, and is a prizewinner in the NATS and NSAL competitions
